CCSS prepares 20,000 meals a week that are served to homebound seniors, homeless people, two hospitals for adults with mental illness and the Detroit Police Department.
Cass offers emergency services including shelter and both transitional and permanent supportive housing for homeless men, women and children.
The agency provides health services for all the homeless residents utilizing a medical doctor, nurse practitioner and a host or RNs and LPNs. Also, there is a Free Clinic every Saturday that is open to the entire community.
Cass has a weekday skill building program for adults with developmental disabilities and/or mental illnesses.
Job training and placement for unemployed or under-employed men and women.
Cass has musical, mentoring and recreational opportunities for children and youth.
